The Traversée de Paris et des Hauts-de-Seine is an unmissable annual rowing event in Île-de-France. This Sunday, September 10, 2023, the 38th edition of this river tour takes place. Aboard their boats, more than 1,000 rowers will set off on the Seine for a 28 km loop between Boulogne and the heart of Paris. More than 250 boats representing a dozen nations are expected. They will pass under no fewer than 33 different bridges, while passing the capital’s finest monuments. Among all the clubs making the trip, the Saint-Ouen club of the Société Nautique de l’Oise (SNO – St Ouen l’Aumône) is taking part with 3 yolettes crewed by 15 women and men rowers, most of whom have between 1 and 3 years of experience. Practiced as a leisure activity, touring rowing is growing steadily, levels vary and the events are there so that everyone can find enjoyment in it.
