In 2020, a group of ice-climbing enthusiasts embarked on a somewhat crazy project: reviving the Festiglace in Pont-Rouge, Quebec.

From 1997 to 2007, this festival had established itself as the largest ice-climbing gathering in the world. Expectations were therefore high.

In 2024, for its third edition since the revival, it is fair to say the gamble has paid off. The exceptional site of Île aux Raisins drew hundreds of climbers and spectators to the various competitions and winter activities.by Thomas Courtois – Full story (text and photos) on request
