Initially holding a PhD in economics and finance and working at the intersection of markets and crisis, this background has shaped his photography for two decades. He traces the financial origins of vulnerability, the mechanics of displacement and the tipping points where capital meets people\u2019s fates. He is an associate journalist member of the FPJQ (F\u00e9d\u00e9ration professionnelle des journalistes du Qu\u00e9bec), has been recognized by Life Framer and received First Prize in the Humans of the World competition (jury: Martin Parr). He trained with Magnum photographer Antoine d\u2019Agata, portrait photographer Yann Rabanier (T\u00e9l\u00e9rama, Lib\u00e9ration) and photojournalist Thierry Dudoit (L\u2019Express, Lib\u00e9ration). He is HEFAT certified (hostile environments and first aid).
