Festiglace, la renaissance

En 2020, un groupe de passionnés d’escalade de glace s’est lancé dans un projet un peu fou, celui de faire renaitre le Festiglace de Pont-Rouge au Québec.

Entre 1997 à 2007, ce festival s’était imposé comme le plus grand rassemblement d’escalade de glace au monde. Les attentes étaient donc élevées.

En 2024, pour sa troisième édition depuis la renaissance, on peut dire que le pari est réussi. Le site exceptionnel de l’ile aux Raisins a attiré des centaines de grimpeurs et spectateurs autour des différentes compétitions et activités hivernales.

In 2024, for its third edition since the revival, it can be said that the bet succeeded.
